Chris was an amazing guide through my legal battle. He was up front with me and told me what he thought the strengths and weaknesses of my case were from the very beginning. He started with telling me that he is very unemotional, a good counter balance to my very emotional, but he was very invested in my case, encouraging when I needed it and gave me a swift kick when I needed that too. He does not have the normal lawyer pretense, which was a huge benefit in my mind (sorry)! I highly recommend Chris.

Christopher focuses primarily on family law and estate planning matters. The family law matters include divorce, child support and parenting time modification, and allocation of parental responsibilities. The estate planning matters include wills, trusts, power of attorney documents, HIPAA waivers, and living wills. Additionally, Chris works with clients on civil protection order matters.

Before becoming a founding member of Springs Law Group LLC, Chris worked for two law firms in Colorado Springs focusing on family law and estate planning matters. Chris has run the spectrum of a case from the initial intake to mediation to final hearings. During this time, Chris discovered his strength in domestic relations cases and learned the importance of client interaction.

During his time at the Denver Sturm College of Law, Chris clerked for the Honorable Judge David L. Shakes of the State of Colorado 4th Judicial District. Under Judge Shakes’ tutelage, Chris developed significant legal research and writing skills.

Even before choosing a career in law, Chris had a desire to work with families. This led him to become a teacher, where he acquired a unique understanding of the intricate workings of a variety of family situations. Chris brings the same care and concern he had as a teacher, as well as other rich life experiences, in helping his clients achieve their legal goals. Chris believes in being upfront and honest with his clients and walking through their legal journey together with them.

Chris and his family moved to Colorado in 2005 and enjoy all the beauty Colorado has to offer. In his free time, Chris enjoys playing games and watching movies with his family, going to concerts in Denver with his wife and going to the gym.
