Gretchen Nicolaysen is an attorney with Springs Law Group, where she is dedicated to advocating for individuals and families who have been injured through no fault of their own. Gretchen earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, where she developed a strong foundation in civil litigation and injury law. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, which deepened her understanding of people, systems, and the social impact of injury and loss.
Gretchen’s connection to the firm runs deep — she joined six months after its founding and has worked in nearly every role within the organization. This hands-on experience has given her a unique, comprehensive understanding of every step in a client’s case — from intake and investigation to settlement and trial preparation.
Now, as an attorney, Gretchen brings that same dedication and perspective to her legal practice, fighting tirelessly to protect the rights of injury victims and help them rebuild their lives.
Gretchen and her husband, Chris, have been married for nearly 30 years and have two adult daughters. Gretchen enjoys spending time with her family, especially her brand new granddaughter. She loves doing puzzles and baking. Additionally, she and Chris love going to the movie theater, attending live concerts together in Denver, and hanging out with their dog, Max.
